We got our first snow last night!  I took that photo at daybreak with the sun rising over the eastern edge of our property.  It was beautiful, but cold.  Drago was so excited to get up this morning and ran with alacrity to the sliding glass door.  When he saw the snow, his whole body fell and he ran back to bed.

Today was my workout with Sarah (Sarah the Terra — as in Terror).  She looks very sweet and innocent, but beneath her chest beats the heart of a torturer.  She had many punishing things in store for me, all of them punctuated by her saying, “Yay!” (I am kidding — sort of — I actually love Sarah.)

I am not sure what will happen with the rest of this weekend.  We have friends in from out of town for the Rosemont Christmas Cluster dog show, so it is going to be pretty busy for us.  Hopefully, I can at least ride.

I made tomato eggs benedict for breakfast this morning.  It is sort of like eggs benedict, but no bread and no Hollandaise sauce.  I used thickly sliced tomatoes and put havarti cheese on them, sprinkled them with oregano, salt and pepper and stuck them under the broiler then topped them with poached eggs.  Very tasty and very nutritious, but not beautiful, so I did not take any photos.
