Rainy days and Mondays always get me down…
Like everyone else, Monday is my least favorite day of the week, and this one had a few extra strikes against it.
After getting out of work later than I had hoped, I did make it to the gym for my run. It was not one of those runs that I remember from my law school days when running meant feeling weightless and easy, as though I could run for days. Today was a day when I felt like I was wearing moon boots and I fought for every step, but I finished.
I am grateful to have that one in the books, and now, after a light supper of a green salad, I am watching one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time….Christmas in Connecticut. (By the way, I want to live on the farm in this movie.) There is nothing like movies made in the 40’s in spite of the fact that everyone is smoking and drinking martinis 😉
I am still trying to figure out my day for tomorrow. I need to run and ride horses and get to Rosemont to help set up for the big dog show this weekend. I suppose it will all get sorted out.
Have a great week and I will leave you with this closing thought to help inspire you!
